Graduate students and postdocs are eligible to apply for tuition fee/travel fellowshis. A limited number of tuition waivers (either partial or up to the full amount for the 3-week course) and/or subsidies for travel and lodging are expected to be awarded for the course in January 2015. Award decisions will be made in the middle of October 2014 with fellowship amounts dependent on the number of eligible applicants and individual circumstances.
Please note that we require a completed registration form for consideration of tuition/travel support (SysBio2015_registration.pdf). For full consideration, completed registration forms must be received by Friday, October 3rd 2014. Late submissions will be disadvantagedFellowship recipients will be notified by the Application/Fellowship Committee by Friday, October 10th, 2014.  Charges for course fees/lodging will not be billed until shortly before the course and only upon confirmation of attendance. You may cancel at any time prior to the start of the course without penalty.
On your registration form please indicate whether you wish to be considered for tuition and/or travel support. In the text box describe your research training background, your motivation for taking the course and your future research/career plans. Also include any information on available matching funds from your lab/institution that may be accessible to you. The committee will consider these factors positively in its selection of awardees.
International students/postdocs are encouraged to apply for appropriate visa/travel documents as early as possible - please contact Karen Martin ( if you require a formal course invitation letter.
